1. Battery Pack Enclosure
- IP Rating: IP67 minimum (IP68 preferred)
- Material: EPDM or silicone foam
- Compression: 30-50% for long-term seal
- Temperature: -40°C to +120°C
2. Charging Port Door
- IP Rating: IP54 (splash proof)
- Cycle life: 10,000+ open/close
- Self-draining design
- Heated in cold climates (ice prevention)
3. Motor & Inverter Housings
- Coolant seal integrity critical
- Vibration resistance essential
- Dielectric properties required
Testing Standards
- IP67: 30 min immersion at 1m depth
- IP68: Continuous immersion (manufacturer specified)
- IP69K: High-pressure wash (80°C, 100 bar)
